Account Opening

What to expect when you open an account.

A clear, four-step path: open through our introducing broker, complete the supplemental paperwork, fund your account, and we begin managing.

For Qualified Eligible Persons · CFTC Regulation 4.7 · NFA ID 0545430

The Process

Four steps from agreement to first trade.

You'll open a separately managed account with a registered broker. Regulus is the Commodity Trading Advisor (NFA ID 0545430); the Futures Commission Merchant carries your account and holds your assets.

  1. 01

Open your account through our introducing broker

You'll open a separately managed account through our introducing broker, which clears and carries positions through StoneX (a registered Futures Commission Merchant). The FCM holds your assets; Regulus directs the trading.

  2. 02

    Complete the supplemental paperwork

Alongside the broker's standard account documents, you'll sign Regulus advisory paperwork — the disclosure documents, advisory agreement, and the Qualified Eligible Person questionnaire required under CFTC Regulation 4.7.

  3. 03

    Fund your account

Once your documents are approved, you fund directly with the FCM. Capital stays in your name, in your account, at the carrying broker — Regulus never takes custody.

  4. 04

    We begin managing

After funding clears, Regulus begins directing your account under the Discretionary Global Macro Trading Program. You see positions, NAV, and statements directly from the FCM.

Custody & clearing

Accounts introduce through SRB Capital and clear through StoneX (FCM). Your capital stays in your name at the carrying broker — Regulus never takes custody of client funds.

Start your account

Tell us which introducing broker you'd like to open through. We'll send the account paperwork and walk you through funding.
